Reservations are confirmed with a deposit of ten percent (10%) of tour fare per person at time of booking, excluding international air. Payments for tour costs per person are are due according to the following payment schedule:

All prices and payments are in U.S. dollars. Reservations will be canceled if payments are not received by the due dates above. Penalties will be applied according to the cancellation schedule below.

Payment made in full will lock-in your cost against future possible increases due to devaluation of the the US dollar compared to the Chinese yuan.

All cancellations must be made in writing and all cancellations will be charged a cancellation penalty depending upon the number of days before the tour departure date according to the following schedule:

Travel insurance is strongly suggested from Continental Capers. This will allow you to cancel without penalty for reasons as covered in the travel insurance policy. There is no refund for any unused portion of your trip once commenced. Cancellation penalties on airfares are additional and are not included in the above cancellation charges.
